Right out of the gate I can tell you that you are going to have a problem adapting it to the fuel rail because the adapters they give you wont work. The adapters you need to buy from like extreme psi. The only problem is the adapters you can buy are designed for a -6 or -8 an line and wont combine with the pipe fittings on the fpr. I have one and it is collecting dust on the wall because it wasnt worth the aggravation to buy and fiddle with different adapters to get the lines to tie together. Then you run the risk of a fuel leak and then car burn to the ground. Think about why it is the ebay one cost you 15 or 20 bucks and an aeromotive is 150. Good luck making it work and holding together.

1/8 npt -> -6 AN adapter (assuming thats what size the ports on the fpr are). Aeroquip, Russell and Earls make them. You'd have to use -6 AN line. I'm sure there will be a fuel flow restriction though. I'm sorry but, I just don't trust ebay regulators. I wouldn't cheap out on anything for my fuel system. That's just me though. I've already had bad luck with them in Honduh applications. 91turbomitsu made a great point about the fuel fittings not matching. You definitely don't want a leak.

1/8 npt -> -6 AN adapter??????????? Someone find me this so i can buy it through paypal right now

Are you guys sure that its 1/8th npt? That sounds very small. Thats the size the fpr gauge usess, but it cant be that small for the fuel lines.

wow you guys are quick thanks for the help also one more question do i need the 8 fitting fuel rail adapter for my 1g or 6 fitting for 1g fuel rail adapter?

You need the -6 fitting if you go with -6an lines. Or you would need the -8 fitting if you go with -8 lines. It will cheapest/easiest to go with -6an lines.

500orbust is right, 1/8npt is way too small. You need to figure out what size that fitting is before you buy the adapter.

ok my question to you is can i just use the stock hoses that it came with and then get the adapter plate for the fuel rail and just clamp everything just temporary if so then alls i need to get is the adapter right?

I would not feel confident clamping a fuel hose to an AN fitting like that. Wait until you get the parts you need and install it properly.

well can i do it though because this regulator has to get me to my shop only 2 miles donw the road

I don't even know if you can stretch the fuel line enough to get it onto the -6an fitting. Like I said, I wouldn't do it, but it's your choice. Can you just put the stock fpr back on to get you to the shop?

Just a warning, those regulators are junk. I've tried two different ones, the problem is the pressure won't stay where you set it and it will lean out up top. This was with only a 255 as well. Get a different regulator. Spend the money and get the tried and proven aeromotive.

Reason I Got Ajustable Is Because An Idiot Decided To Leave It On The Ground(brother) And My Pitbull Chewed It.....:(

If you only need to get two miles down the road, use your stock FPR and drive the car. When you get to your shop, throw that Ebay peice of crap away, call up one of the supporting vendors and buy something that is worth the money you spent on it. Now, when you buy one that works, you will have spent $50 more than you should have.

Quality isnt cheap and cheap isnt quality.
