ok i can usually find out what i need by just searching through the threads but not this time. so what i need to know is do i have to do any modifications to the stock 2g fuel rail when installing a afpr. i found a megan racing afpr for $60. i understand basically what i need to install it but some have cut and welded the end of the rail to fit. like this one in the classifieds: http:///www.dsmtuners.com/classifieds/showproduct.php?product=80547&cat=7
or this one i found in one of the threads. SX FPR install
there is a kit by sbr that seems like it would be a bolt on.
Slowboy Racing :: Fuel :: DSM Fuel :: Fuel Line Kits :: FPR SS Return Line Kit 1G/2G
im looking for the cheapest, easiest, and most reliable solution.

im looking for the cheapest, easiest, and most reliable solution.

That, sir, does not exist. It's cheap, fast, or reliable, and you only get to pick two.

Anyway, easiest would be a bolt-on AN adapter for the fuel rail. That's what I did, they're like $24 a piece from xpsi which is a lot for what it is.

If you can weld, then welding a AN fitting onto the end would be cheapest.

If you're looking for a kit, this one from xpsi comes with a great filter too for a better price combined than the SBR one.

theres a push lock fittings kit on sbr for $55. im probably going to order that. still alot for hoses. its not ss lines but itll do the job. i bought the afpr for 65 today. theres 3 ports on it. ones for the fuel rail. ones for the fuel filter but what is the other one for?

You plug the hole you don't use.
Push lock is ftw, compared to SS hose at least. Just boil the end of the hose in some water, put wd-40 on it, and it slips on never to come off again :thumb:
