Had a guy last night tell me his friends car spiked to 32 pounds on a stock turbo. Don't know if it possible but I don't think so.
32 pounds is an even number and usually, not all the time, even numbers indicate lying. Also, most boost gauges are -30/30.
That being said I have seen my own boost gauge spike/creep to 27ish psi before the ECU caught up and cut fuel on a 14b. I also had my Greddy electronic boost controller claim I was running 50 PSI on an uncontrolled spike on my T25 for a brief second. Can I be sure the system saw that pressure? Nope, probably was an electronic malfunction of some sort, which could have been what happened in this case and he thought it was a real 32 PSI.
