How about this one, hear it all the time.

"how many G's does the turbo have?"
 
Mine are:
Crx kid:Eclipses are slow
Me: I drive a talon but they are the same
Crx kid: no those are worse
Me ok whatever dude
Crx kid: how much turbo are you running
Me: just one
Crx kid: Dang that sucks does your car have that stupid hump in the middle of the hood for the battery to sit
Me: laughed and walked away
And this kid has been going to the same auto diesel college as me for 9 months
Another dumb thing was I'm gonna put a vtec solenoid on my non vtec head and ill have vtec
 
First day I get my car, Im talking to this kid in my class. I told him it was stock, and then imediatly he asked if I had a cold air.

Oh and the same kid was talking about the new Si's. The the hand crafted exhaust on those...YOU JUST CANT GET POWER LIKE THAT ANYWHERE ELSE!

I rolled my eyes and laughed.
 
1 day me and my friend were at school and went for lunch couple of days after i bought my car.
friend: is this the turbo one
me:yes, but stock one tho
friend; no dont **** around with me
me: why would i
friend: ## buddies spyder is turbo, but it sound alot louder.
me: yes, because he has a bov. its louder than the stock one
2 weeks later after turbosmart supersonic bov
friend: damnn man did u swap your motor with a supra?
me: huhhhh WTF why the hell out of all cars u say a supra :s
friend:its as loud as supra
me: im like ya since its aftermarket which is better than stock
friend: damnn man i want to put it on my 04 altima :D
me: sure, let my buddy with the syder install it for u since his is turboed

another one,i saw a lovers that i knnow at riverside
girl:man im dating this guy with vr6 with GLI full lip kit and audi A8 rims its ****kn fastt and he also has a BORa gear knob that will give him 50hp extra and will beat u by 3 cars distnce
me: damn sounds fun, can i put that gear knob on mine.

after the race he was like damn thats not fair

at an autoparts store today there was a silver 2g talon in the parking lot. it turned out one of the guys that worked there was the owner.

me: i need rear calipers for a 98 dodge avenger 2.0 (motor didnt matter but they always ask anyway)
him: you should have come in a couple of days ago my uncle just took one to the junk yard after destroying the engine when he was doing the timing.
me: v6 or I4?
him: I4. you know that's really a DSM engine? same as the eclipse or talon
me: non-turbo you mean
him: yeah, but you can put it in a turbo. easy swap, just unbolt one engine and bolt in the other, same trans mounts and everything (he was saying that you could do a 4g63 to 420a swap easily and vise versa)
me: so you got those calipers in stock or you gotta order them? (trying hard as hell not to laugh)

This week "How old were you when you got your first car and what was it?"

Just bought this GSX, was told it has mods, well i have a problem already. My car stays running for a minute or so after i shut it off and have the key out of the ignition. I don't know why this happens... any help would be great.

First response to the thread by me: Do you have a turbo timer? I'm betting $100 you have a turbo timer... which makes this "issue" not an issue but proper operation.

Everybody starts somewhere man. I didn't know what a turbo timer was until I started trying to learn about my car

The kid at checker see's my talon and tells me, "i had an eclipse gsx, it ran 10 flat". I say "oh yeah, what 60' time did you run"? His reply, "whats that"? He then goes on to tell me, get this, "yeah, it had an 80 trim turbo on it".
 
i just sold my dizzum last week.. the guy said ima put a Si motor in it.. -_-

not a dsmer but my friend asked me "how can i put a BOV on my RX-8" -_-

dumass: My rx-8 is a 4 cylinder GOOD ON GAS! hahah 2 fails in 1 (yes same guy as above)

That would have been sick if he meant quad rotor. Haha!!
