I'm not sure what you mean by this.

As for the socketing, wherever you order it from should also offer a socketing service for $30. I ordered mine from Import Evolution and they had me send it to ECMtuning for socketing. It took 2 or 3 days tops round trip from the time I shipped it until I got it back. I'd say just talk to the place you order it from as they should have a solution for you.

examples are,bcs flicker removal,lift-to-shift,antilag,maf comp, I want to know if i can get these

As for these specific ones:

BCS flicker - 2G vehicles only
NLTS - Yes
Anti-lag - Yes
Maf Comp - Yes

The only things you will not be able to get are OBDII fix, Speed limit removal, Fan control, and BCS flicker.

Things you'll get that 2G's won't - Persistent memory (which I'm soooo jealous of :sosad:), MAF selection, Knock retard reset, and Injector disable.

Check out DSMlink's homepage. There is a chart on here that will tell you all features of V2.

DSMlink

Taken from DSMlink homepage:
A basic overview of the features provided with DSMLink are outlined below. More detail can be found in the user manual, available for viewing in the Downloads section or you can refer to the Details section online. DSMLink V2 is the only version available for new purchases. The feature set below is split into two sections so that existing version 1 users can review the new features provided by DSMLink V2 to decide if an upgrade is appropriate or not.

V2 is all you can buy now. They simply split the new feature up from the old ones so people could see if they wanted to pay the upgrade cost. Just call dsmlink and do it all through them. Socketing service and everything. Why deal with middle men when you can go right to the source?

i mean if you go to the dsmlink home page it has a list of what you can do with either V1 or V2 and there are some better options with the v2 package and i want to know if i can get those

I believe you are misreading that chart. The superscript 1's are features that only a 1G ECU can get. The superscript 2's are features in V2 of DSMlink. And the superscript 3's are for features only a 2G ECU can get.

I purchased DSMLINK a few months back, the only thing you need to do is contact whomever you are purchasing this through and they will ask you a series of questions about your car for programming purposes. I ordered mine from JNZ Tuning, they were great. If you are impatient like me, it may be worth ordering it directly from DSMLINK since they will ultimately be doing the work and you can skip a middle man (and get charged ~ $20 more). If you have a favorite vendor it may take another day or two worth of shipping to complete the process, in the end you get the same awesome product!!! :)

Also, v1 didn't support 1Gs if I remember right. It was the first revision. V2 is the second revision, when 1G support was added along with the 1G memory daughterboard, to keep your settings persistent. V3 will (eventually) come out, and everyone will upgrade to that. :D

The only things you will not be able to get are OBDII fix, Speed limit removal, Fan control, and BCS flicker.
Which really aren't a problem, as the 1G is OBDI (not II), 1Gs don't have a speed limiter in the first place, and don't have BCS flicker problems. No idea about the fan control thing.
