I recently got a 99 gsx with Dsmlink v2. The dude I bought it from said he left the headlights on at some points and lost the tune that was on the car. He said he went in and downloaded the basemaps for the car from ecmtuning.com. So I plugged my laptop in and starting looking around in what the settings are.

One thing I noticed is under global fuel its setup for 725cc injectors which is -37.9% global fuel. The car is suppose to have 750cc injectors per his ad there's really no way of knowing which injectors actually have. should I trust the current settings or should I switch it up to 750cc injectors in dsmlink. also the dead time is set for 345 usecs if that matters.

Also my car has an lc1 wideband in it. The wideband gauges and everything seems to be working really well. But in ecu inputs the rear o2 sensor is set to factory, should I switch this to be lc1 wideband?.

How the car runs: The car runs really well when driving and up into boost. Then it idles at 1000-1100 when warm when the idle is set at 900 I know there are some tutorials on how to get that better I need to look into more. the only downside of the car is on startup it starts fine then as soon as it cranks over it tries to die for a second but never does. then you give it ~10 seconds and the idle stabilizes to 800-900.

In the future I also want to upgrade to v3 it's only $250.

I'll attach the .ecm file and a datalog I took on a 20 min drive if that helps

Thanks for helping a new dsm owner

From the log your front O2 sensor is dead. Zero volts
Your TPS voltage is too low at idle. 0.47v rather than the Link recommended 0.63v.

Why do you have the fuel pump manually activated? Same for the fans under the Misc settings.

Have you verified where the LC1 is connected to the ECU? Update link when you know.

You might want to log additional items like battery voltage, ISC steps, rear O2, and idle switch to see what they are doing.

Without the O2 sensor feedback it's hard to say if the injector setting is close.
