Well I tried to download the DSMLink V2 that the guy said that came with the car and gave me the cable and everything. When I try to install on my Windows 7 computer it has a weird error and says "The Java(TM) VM could not be started. Please restart the installation. You may use the parameter "/manual" to download or manually select a different VM."

Does DSMLink v2 not work with Windows 7?

i just dl the v3 software and run it that way and i have it on windows 7 works great

Yeah, as the previous posted mentioned, you can just use the V3 software off our downloads page. It's still compatible with V1 and V2 ECUs. You just have to set the device type in the "configure connection" dialog.
