Alright so I might be trading in my little SAFC2 for DSMLink.

First Off: Will any 1g chip work in a 90 ECU? 2nd: Is it required that i run a MAFT and a 3 GM? I would like to just stick with my 2g MAS until I upgrade to v3.

Thanks a million.

Any 1G V2 DSMLink chip will work in the 90 DSM ECU. Just make sure you also have the DSMLink memory module.

Running a MAF translator (MAFT) with a GM MAF is an *option*, not a requirement. I would definitely suggest sticking with the 2G MAF sensor until you have a good reason to change it. An overview of MAF sensor limits can be found here.

Be sure to contact us when you have the DSMLink package in your hands to arrange for a transfer of ownership.
