Ne body know where to go to get the dsmlink v2 tuned. There are people around here that can do it, i just want somone good that has done it b4 to do it. That way i know it is getting optimal output. I live in St. Louis, Missouri.

I wouldn't mind learning, but i do not have ne one that can teach me. I know very minimal, basically what some things do.

Once you go through the first setup most of the tuning will be done for you.

Your car should run good if you have the right settings for your fuel injectors.

After that if you need any help you can post a log on the dsmlink forum and there will be plenty of guys there who can help you fine tune the rest.

I can't get on the forums. The shop that i bought it from never gave me what i needed too. What all do i need to be able to access the forums?

Email the guys at DSMLink the serial number of your chip and what you would like your name to be on the forums. Then they will send you a password which you can change once you're logged in.

I live in Liberty Missouri and I haven't found a place around here to help me with tuning my car. I bought DSMLink V2 direct from their website; you can register a user name at www.dsmlink.com/forums. As for tuning, it really is a trial and error process. Zero out your fuel and timing settings and work from there. Keep an eye on the knock value and when you start to receive knock; tune the fuel accordingly. If you're running rich, take away fuel. Simple things like that, hope that helps.

Don't just change fuel in response to knock, change timing too.

One thing to keep in mind is that if you have a blow thru system (I.E. 3" or 3.5" GM MAF with Translator) you have to calibrate the MAF before your settings will read right. Use the airflow table for most of your settings, but zero out the MAF (set injector size to 450s by turning AUX = 4 and BASE = 2, all other knobs on zero). There is no point in doing a whole lot of tuning on the MAF when you have DSMLink available. Just make sure your LTFT and STFT are as close to 0 as possible and your idle should be around 0.27G/Sec for your AirFlowPerRev value. Also, under the “Miscellaneous” menu make sure the "Ignore IAT/Baro" button is enabled because the MAF has a tendency to miscalculate the airflow and over compensate for fuel.
