I have an alighnment issue of some sort going on with my drivers side window. I do know when i roll it up i have to help it otherwise the position of it will be off even further. I don't know if anyone else has had this problem but its starting to bug me. Now that it's cold I have time to really dig into it. The weirdest part about it is the door isn't loose and everything that has to do with the door is straight so I'm not sure how a guy would essentially "raise" the front portion of the window. I've already tried adjusting the door without luck so I'm kind of in the brainstorming stage of things. If anyone has had this same issue I'd love to hear how you fixed it. It's such a weird issue. The passenger side is completely normal and I added pictures to show.

remove door panel, remove switch so can use it with door panel off and the plant sheet off too. Lithium grease would help but look first carefully as you raise it up and down. One of the white plastic sliders maybe broken causing one side to stick and delay. Looking at is is the only way to find out what the actual fk

I had the door panels off so many times and the first thing I did was put grease on all the tracks. I do know those white tabs are broken, I have 4 brand new ones to put on. The weirdest part is if you look close at picture 1 it shows that it's all the way up. If it went any further would it not go past the rubber seal attached to the mirror? I'm just trying to understand it more. I'll yank the door panel off tonight and get a deeper look. I might as well replace those "white hook" deals while I'm at it. I just dont understand if it is all the way up why do I have that little gap versus what I see on the passenger side?

I don’t want to give you wrong information. Been 8 years since I fixed mine was like that too . I’d have to look with door panel off to remember what I did to fix it. Took me a lot of watching to figure what was wrong. Also look at the rubber guide in the front rail and rear tracks make sure glass is not in the wrong spot and out of the rubber track

Alright I'll take some more pictures when I get the panel off. I do know the doors shut great and nothing else seems "off" aside from that annoying gap. It just seems weird how it sits almost like my door isn't high enough which is obviously not the case since the body lines are within spec.

There’s an adjustment for it to travel up higher at the top where the guides with soft cloth that glass slides on. I believe are 12mm nuts bolt hole on them allows to adjust a bit if I remember correctly. Pretty odd you’d need to do that though if something is not worn

I have to give this corner a little tug for it to want to seat properly. I'm guessing there's some sort of an adjustment to allow it to go up further? The felt deal I took a photo of only guides the window right? So it doesn't flop in or out to far or am I not getting that right?

Okay ill see if adjusting it makes it better. The plastic on the door is all ripped up so someone has had to of been in here once before. Here's another thing that I found.

That seems to be the issue. Find a flat piece of metal bigger than that area then fill a hole for that 10mm is how I’d fix that

I almost have the whole mechanism out and I found a crack in it. I guess I didn't look close enough to even notice these issues since it worked so nice. I have a used one sitting on the shelf ill swap in and see if it's normal. I'll report back after I gorilla fold this thing out.

Thank you for that information because thats exactly what I'll need to do. The window now goes up where it needs to but it's way to far over stressing the rubber for the mirror. The fix was the whole regulator system was cracked and also a bolt was broken and everything was pretty tweaked.

I didn't know this but I just wanted to add this in so people do know. The mirror does have some adjustability if you loosen all 3 bolts. I did get the window perfect with everything else adjusted but that rubber was still to stressed for my liking.

Sure does thanks for adding that . Most people wouldn’t know coz never had these issues. I had issues because bought a used door without dents and hinges that have no play. My original door and window had no issues other than that

Right there with you. I honestly had no idea my stuff had the issues it had so that's why I went straight to asking questions before actually digging in, which was my bad. I dug into it a little before but I guess I didn't look hard enough.
