I'm in the process of replacing the transmission in my 96 Eclipse RS. My question is : Does this clutch still look good ? Does it look good enough to keep using ?

Sort of hard to tell while the disk is still installed. Pictures of the friction surfaces and disk thickness would be helpful. One of the flywheel would also be good.

Its a 420a clutch you cant take them apart they are riveted together when you buy a new one it comes riveted to the new fly wheel. (this is how stock is any way)

Its a modular style clutch, all you can really tell from your pics are the fingers. They do look worn to me but the pics arent the greatest.

Sorry about that, forgot the 420a's had modular clutches. For $130, may as well get a new one. I'd pay that much to not have to pull a transmission later. Throwout bearing and any other common points of wear should be inspected and replaced if the replacement transmission is used and the budget allows.

it looks as those you may have.... i'd say 15,000 miles left with that? BUT those fingers look very worn.. i honestly would just replace it while you can. you'll regret that you didn't when your pullin the tranny again. LOL

I would get a stock one if I didn't want to break anything.
A six puck clutch in a 420a ?sorry man but not a good idea

Thanks for the info/tips everyone. I know that it's always wise to replace the clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing anytime you pull the transmission unless the clutch is in perfect or near perfect condition.

I just wasn't too sure about this one because the previous owner of the car had mentioned that the clutch was replaced. It's hard to tell the condition since it's a modular clutch. It did feel fine before I pulled the transmission though, so I went ahead and used the old setup. I know, I know ! I'll probably be pulling the transmission again within the next 15,000 miles. It's relatively easy to do though.
