You have a BOV for a mod and the stock ignition is good for 500hp.

I concur. The ignition system on our cars is very very stout. I'm still rocking coils from 1992, no issues. Not bad for a 23 year old system. And unless you get a CDI box, you'll be down grading. Doing a proper COP setup can get VERY pricey.
