OK I needed a new radiator buy I didn't see anything about the transmission. Is there a difference in the radiators in a manual or automatic transmission 420a cars. I got my new radiator and there is 2 goldish colored pipes coming out the bottom that my old radiator doesn't have. If not do I need to block them off and if so how.

The small pipes on the bottom is what I am talking about

There is only one difference, being that the AUTO has transmission cooler lines and the MANUAL does NOT.
I am going to say that you a 5 speed, so yes just plug them off or get an aftermarket cooler to help the heat stay away!

What do you mean an after market cooler? For what? So there is a different radiator for a manual or are they all the sane just the lines hooked up or not?

No you do not need to block off those lines. They are only there for those vehicles that are equipped with an internal transmission cooler that runs thru the radiator. if your vehicle is a manual/has an external transmissioon cooler, you don't have to worry about it.

:thumb: on that.

Well, sort of. You don't really need to plug them up, because there is nothing coming out, but I would just me. Just to keep anything from getting in or out, not that anything would, maybe, but you never know. :sneaky:

Throw it in and get running again. :thumb:

OK it looks like my old one has them but not sure can't see. I can't throw it in yet still waiting on the fans and hoses to get here

I will have one soon working a journey. Haven't got much done to it besides suspension and not the best looking eclipse at all but I'm trying to change it.
