while prying out rear differential seal a spring popped out, I was wondering where it goes cause I can’t seem to locate it on the other side… I looked on the graph as well and there seemed to be multiple springs in the rear diff? Not sure. Where does this go?

Solution
It goes inside of the seal you were prying on. It's used to create tension between the inner lip of the seal and the surface it seals against.
