check engine light help

[1995 gst]

My friend got a check engine light code today and his car sint running to well, the code is p0170, which is fuel bank 1. what does that mean? i know its a fuel prob but what could be causing it?

means o2 sensor, bank one is is the 02 senser on the headers. if its a 2g bank 2 should be pre cat i think. correct me if im wrong guys. but the o2 sensor sounds like the culprit.

+1 on the front o2 sensor. Either that or vacuum leaks..

Bank 1 Sensor 1 is the front O2 sensor.
Bank 1 Sensor 2 is the rear O2 sensor.
We only have one manifold, so we only have one bank.
