Im new to forums altogether so please excuse anything stupid i say. Im not a noob to working on stuff but my car really has me puzzled. Its a 99 eclipse gs 420a, im having a problem with it just shutting off completely when i go to drive it, it runs hot a good bit but pressure tests have shown no leaks or blown gaskets. I can idle it forever but if i go to drive itll randomly die between instant and 2 minutes of being in gear. If i idle it in 1st it wont die which is wierd. If i speed up or hpld speed above idle it dies. It doesnt sputter or sound wierd. It just cuts all ppwer to the engine. Someone please help this is my daily and only vehicle and i cant afford another one.
