420A Car won't stay running

The car was running, then the other day its started then died, I tried to start it again and rev it up to about 1000 rpm and it would run as long as i was keeping it at that rpm, there are DTC's for evap purge solenoid and Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor, could either/both of those keep it from running
 
Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor! It seems to be a common issue on the 420A.

The ECU is defaulting to a coolant temperature of 114F. This sensor controls a lot of things, including fuel injector duty cycle.

There is no listed “default” action for the emissions evap solenoid code other than the CEL.

I wonder if you kept it running at 1000RPM as you mentioned for a little while and let it heat up, if it would eventually run by itself after coolant temp actually got to 114F. :idontknow:
