2G Car won't start 😒

I haven't been driving her, simply moving her every week so my HOA doesn't complain. But the past few times I've had to jump her. This last time, she wouldn't start so I replaced the battery assuming my jump box was dying too.

When I turn the key it cranks and as I let go of the key she sounds like she's gonna turn on but then dies. So I assumed it was gas related.

I can hear the fuel pump turn on briefly when I turn the key. (It was very loud driving with it before and I had read that was a symptom of a failing pump?)
I changed the fuel filter since I didn't know how old it was.

I was reading and guess I need to check for spark and wet plugs next? I'll have to YouTube it I tried to start but my only fitting for the plugs was so snug i refused to gamble and risk it getting stuck in there.

I'm just a YouTube mechanic so I'd appreciate any advice on how to proceed.

if the pump was getting louder it can be a clogged filter starving the motor of fuel. assuming you don't have a fuel gauge after the rail to check? have you changed the filter? First pull feed line off fuel rail and power the fuel pump test connector. Make sure You have a container for fuel to pour into. If little or no fuel remove filter. It is tough to crack the lines loose so use the right tools. from there you should be able to start the pump via test connector on the fire wall. See if fuel comes out of the feed line you pulled off the bottom of the filter. If not its your pump, if yes the test filter or get a new one.

Ugh, so embarrassing... but here I am to swallow my pride and drop an update.

I purchased a compression test kit along with an inline spark tester and a new 13/16 spark plug socket.
Today was a pretty warm day so I ran out there and pulled the plugs to see that they were super fouled up. I ran to the store and grabbed a new set and viola, she started up instantly.

Now to figure out why it happened. My AFR gauge reads between 14.7 and 15.1 which I know on the lower end is supposed to be ideal but then again I've been only doing short drives with her.
