Ok I got the GST put back together, and Cranked it to let it warm up, It ran for a few minutes (roughly 10) and then shut down on its own. Its late now and im through fooling with it for the day, but just wondering if anyone had any suggestions for me to check besides fuel and spark (which are my first things to check tomorrow). I did redo the entire vacuum system and I was thinking that maybe I have the EGR solenoid vacuum lines reversed? IDK. When the car was running it ran smooth and idled at right at 900 rpm. smooth throttle response so im skeptical that its a vacuum problem. Any and ALL ideas are welcome. If i can't figure this out I will be selling the car. Hate to see it go but im tired of working on it LOL. Thanks guys!!!!

loss of power? check if your batt is charged, or if the alternator is charging it, on my 1g the 90amp fuse was broken and the car basically ran on battery until it died.
 
Ten minutes is a long idle and my '90 tends to run down the battery far enough to die over that time. My first and second guesses are you need to charge your battery and it needs a good drive and less idling :)! Third guess is you may have an alternator problem, insufficient charge current.

battery is on trickle charge now. will leave it overnight and try again, although it didn't seem to have any trouble spinning the engine over.

Ok I have fuel but no spark. any suggestions before I re-time this thing?

You say the injectors are delivering fuel (wet plugs), but there's no spark action at all. Could be the power transistor module has failed (part J722T). Might be worthwhile seeing if the ECU is generating any codes.

No cels. pulled it back apart and checked timing again. noticed that the exhaust cam was about 1/2 tooth off so I figured I would retime it.
 
If no spark and no code, but fuel injection, my suggestion is a different transistor pack. Maybe a friend has an alternative transistor pack you could try and see how it behaves.
 
Ok I retimed and its spot on. still have fuel, still have no spark. Crank and cam sensors are new. so I've narrowed it to the ignition power transistor. I don't have any way to replace with a temp to check so is there a way to test this thing? If so how do I do it?
