Hey guys.

I've been tinkering around with my 1G and have a weird issue.

If I start the car and let it idle, the car will go into closed loop and idle in the mid 14's, once I touch the gas, it will goto open loop and stay there. It will then idle mid 13's which is too rich for my taste. This is all on my AEM UEGO.

The ECM link say's it ESTAFR is 14.5

All the parameters for closed loop are fullfilled.

I have a 1G on a ECMLink V3 full Speed density.

I thought it was an o2 sensor problem, but I switched my UEGO (set on P4 0-1v) to pin 4 on the ecu and it does the same thing.

I attached a data log, it's kind of long, but once I raise the RPM you can see where it switches and doesn't go back.

I also attached my direct access. I don't know if my open loop threshold is where it should be.

Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Sam

A little update.

I found that the idle switch was not functioning. But that wasn't really the issue. Although I sorted it out, I set the TPS scale and offset, and simulated the idle switch. I also wired in my wideband and simulated the signal through the ECM link.

The car still does the same thing, I start it, it warms up into closed loop. I blip the throttle and it switches to open loop and won't go back, and it idles rich when in open loop.

I smoke tested the intake and there's no leaks. I also noticed something else, my IAT's never change, I 'm running speed density and I changed the ECU input for intake temp to a GM IAT sensor and it reads, but under a sensor I defined...

I really need to sort this out.

Thanks,

Sam

Thank you.

I sorted it out, the airflowperrev was too low, so I changed the VE table to bring it up. It now idles like it should.
