Car not getting power... just putting battery back in after winter project

Hey guys I am having a power issue. I went to start up the car and the battery had enough power to turn on the dash lights and make the starter click once. The battery is maybe 6 months old and I can't get it with a jump start and it has been on the battery charger for 4 hours and still can't get anything. Any ideas?

maybe get the alternator tested? Thats what it was in my last car.

But if it were the alternator, the battery should still charge up and turn something at all on. I'm getting no power to anything.

Check your fuses.
What voltage is the battery holding when not on the charger?
Make sure your contacts are clean and solid.

+1 on checking fuses. Clean your posts. Did it turn over at all or did it just click?

It just clicked once. When I first went to try it the windshield wiper switch was on and the blades moved to the top position and then the power went completly gone after I tried to start it and it clicked once.

Well I got the battery tested, they said that it is still good and has power in it so they said its not dead. I cleaned the connections good and shiney. I cleaned the grounds. I checked the fuse box under the hood and the box under the dash on drivers side. I just find it wierd that the first time I put the key in that the wiper blades moved and dash lights came on and starter clicked once and after that no power to anything.
I forgot to check the ignition fuse, sure enough it was blown. So I put another 30 amp fuseable link in and the car had power but when i tried to start it it blew it again.

I am having the same problem. Did you ever fix the issue and what was the problem?
I found it to be my fuseable link on the positive battery terminal popping I am still trying to track down where the short is though.
