I'm changing out my PCV valve and I'm having trouble unscrewing the PCV valve from the valve cover. Do you guys know what is the best tool to remove it and if there is anything I can do to loosen it up?

I have been wrenchin it to the left but it doesn't seem to be going anywhere. I don't want to un-thread it or anything. I'm pretty sure it has never been touched before.

Try spraying some PB blaster or other penetrating oil on it and let it sit for a while. Our PCV valves shouldn't be that tight as they are screwed into an aluminum valve cover. After you've soaked it in penetrating oil, try tapping the wrench with a hammer to knock it loose. That should do it but if not use a second wrench for leverage. Remember its on the back of the vc so it's the PCV valve's left, not yours.
