Well I went out and started my car today(99 GST), well tried to start it anyway. It started up and idled rough as hell and sounded like a rod knocking but it was coming from the valve cover not the bottom end, and the car would only run for about 2 seconds or so. So I go in my house grab my laptop and go out start up the dsmlink and it had a cel that said Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction. So I cleared it and it ran but was still idleing really bad and still sounded bad. I know if either one of the CAS are bad the car shuts off after 2-3 seconds, but would that explain the rough idle and noise? I am buying another sensor on thursday when i will have enough time to put it in. Any help would be great, I'm just trying to make the car as realible as possible since I just found out my wife is pregnant so I cant afford to keep building it anymore.
Also I cant keep an O2 sensor working in the car, like even with a brand new one it says it isnt workng after a day or so, any idea why?

Thanks,
Jeremy

Thanks again
