Like the title says my sensor (behind intake cam) is broken. Can i drive the car while it is broken? I will get one next week but i need a car for tomorrow. What can go wrong if i drive the car with the broken sensor?

NOW I TRIED TO START THE CAR BUT ONLY 2 CYLINDERS GET SPARK. :notgood: Other 2 don't get spark at all, is this because of that sensor?

no you can not drive it...the same thing happened to me, one of the viens on the cam gear that passes through the CAS was bent a little and rubbing against the sensor... first thing I did was replace the sensor, same thing ( only sparked on 2 cylinders)...so after I figured out was going on I thought I could just buy a new vien plate or what ever it is called...(the plate that is on the inside of the cam that has two seperate viens that travel through the sensor as it rotates), but nope the dealership will only sell the cam and the plate as a whole...I paid something like $87 for the CAS and $150 for the cam and plate...hope that helps, also I have both the cas and the cam for sale (almost brand new...250 miles on them) if interested in either PM me...good luck
