I basically had some parts laying on a tarp including my battery and cams. One way or another the battery got knocked over (cough cough wife). And the battery acid ended up on my fp2's. Its on the exhaust cam on the end opposite of the cam gear.

Ruined or useable?

Curious now as to why the exhaust cam has a notch on it? Because the intake cam also has a notch on it?

Yeah, that thing needs to be replaced. I'm not really sure exactly how one would go about ordering a new one, but if you look around your area hard enough, you should be able to procure a new wife relatively easily.

Funniest thing ive read on this forum!

^^Well, depending on whether the FP cams were made from billets or cast, you could contact Delta about repairing the damage. Hell, those guys can even put a broken cam back together, no shit, though I dont think Id want to go that far:p. Hope you find that replacement soonLOL

Funny thing, I had to call Delta today about some cams.

I thought of this thread and asked Jon about it, He says he can fix it.
Delta Camshaft

The repair would go about like this, grind the damage are to good metal, led it back up then grind it to spec.

Cost... less than $50 and shipping.

It works , I had it done on a Kelford cam for a Nissan RB26DETT that was damaged. No issues with that repair.

I appreciate all yalls help very much. I have a machine shop in town that I'm going to take it to tomorrow and see what they will charge to do it. If not ill ship it off to Delta cams and have it done there. So thank you very much for that also.

I might either wait to get it fixed, run the stock cams until then or run the fp2 intske with the stock exhaust

Anyone have an opinion on running the fp2 (its actually a comp 101200) and the stock exhaust?
