im really interested to know if your "issues" are a result of the cams or something else. All input is much appreciated as i am looking at the fp2 cams myself

Just intalled Comp 101200's this weekend. I was worried about a rough idle but it is like stock at 900RPM's. Comp says the are good from 230-7300RPM's and I got a smooth broad power band just like they said.
My motor has plenty of bolt on's but has 110k miles on a stock block with 7.8:1 compression or I would have gotten much more power. They claim to make 10-12 more HP than 272's. I am anxious to get my 6 bolt rebuilt with 9:1 WISECO's. I am sure that will really turn the cams into a very hard pull then. Mark

Hey sweet the ffwd cams have close to the same specs but im not sure about needing to be degreed. I know all cams should be but I wanna find out if the ffwds are close so I wont need them. There $100 less than the fp2s and with same lift. Let me know what you think.

They don't give duration at .050". Could be anything. You can get the Compslie I did which are basically the FP2's for $439. shipped from www.finaldriveperformance.com Add shipping to the FFWD's and the difference becomes even less. regrinds loose their hardening just like a turned crank. Spend the $80. more for the Comp 200's. mark
