HKS Cam drilling question

Everyone say the HKS cams are just drop in,
but whats this drilling and tapping I've been hearing about in the last minute. do they come that way or it optional. or you do that on your own.

i have 264 E/I and they dropped right in. im pretty sure the 272 drop in to. go check out vfaq.com they have a link that shows u how to do it.

For the 2G I believe you need to drill a hole in the due to the CAS or somthing.

95-96 are drop ins, but the 97-99 you have to tap the intake cam

This is true, most shops will do it for free. Juts let them know you have a 97.
