HKS cam Indexing

Last year I ran a small 16G motor using '91 cams with the exhaust cam retarded 4*. It ran real strong up top at 309 WHP. I upgraded early winter with 264 HKS cams. The butt dyno says it's stronger in the mid range but no better on top. These cams are timed straight up. Do HKS cams make more top end retarded? Any thoughts?

wow Ive never done more than 2*...

Leave them the way they are... good choice for the turbo settup, you shouldnt regret it.

I have the 264 in and 272 ex . I retarded the ex 4 degrees ann the intake is advanced 2 degrees . It picked up 35whp on the dyno every car is set up different .
