Rich,

If someone does a "revenge" protest, it means that they'll "be in trouble". It does not specify however, what that "trouble" may actually include.

Greg,

That is really amazing. I think they did a good job at updating the list of tt points, and should lead to some of the most interesting racing, as well as an influx of otherwise unclassified racers. I think it may be required in the future to have something higher than TTA, but lower than TTU classes. I'm not sure, But I'm sure they'll be watching closely to see how everything works out.

I'm really happy that this worked out this way. I think it changes the racing world for the better.

Yeah, me too. Any nitpick bitching on my part about rules just stems from my personality. I am the kind of guy who would complain if you hung me with a new rope.

Do these "Protests" come up often? I wouldn't think they do. I won't have anything to worry about because I'm not gonna hide anything about my car, it's not worth it if you get caught. I do agree that if someone protests you and then they find nothing the Protester should have to pay for replacement parts and the labor.

Very rarely a protest, unless it's something totally blatant. Once the DSM crowd gets rolling in the new series you know everyone will be scrutinizing each others car. I'm hoping that this year will work out all the bugs, but there's so many different cars to deal with it's gonna be insane! :D
