In my twisted way of thinking, a picture captioned that way looses much of it's importance if it's taken several years after the win.

I wasn't asking Mike because I thought he took the picture but because he knows more of the background than I do and it confused me. :thumb:

It is captioned wrong, that was '92.

My old street car was a 90 GS Turbo that was raced in Firehawk. When the new body style came out in 92 they reskinned the front and rear and changed the headlights in the car. When they would travel to a race they would use it as a show car and leave it at a dealership in town. It got raced again by Dave in a minor pro series at Willow Springs and then I bought it in '95. 3500 miles on it, only driven on Sundays :)

The "Tallini" car was originally the Nelson Ledges car. Then it raced SCCA showroom stock for a few seasons. Later Tony Shoemaker rallied it in a closed course wheel to wheel rally series we had here in SO Cal for a year. He rolled it twice. Then I got a hold of it and Bryon Farnsworth raced it for two years. Later in about '98 Tallini started driving it for me. He raced it till it melted down a motor in the heat at Las Vegas Speedway in '03. By then it was EVO time.

It sat in Time Out for a couple years and then I sold it to Jason Steinhart, one of my Mexico racers that was campaigning a 1G GSX in Mexico with us. He wanted it for a second play and back up car. Racing a rowdy FWD car is much more... exciting shall we say. So after 10 years of me owning it and having other drivers race it for me, Jason lets me race it unless his GSX blows up. Fun stuff.
