Mount the pump in the passenger side footwell. Weld a fitting to the bottom passenger corner of the trans when it is dissassembled - out of the car. This send line should then run through a filter - to the pump - and then empty through a fitting on the top of the tranny.

Using the fill and drain plugs I would not recommend as you need to detach the lines each time you change the fluid.

Put a switch on the dash. I'd also suggest letting the fluid actually warm up for a lap or two before flipping on the pump. Makes it easier on the pump when the fluid is warm and thinner.

My Archer Talon and most road race cars run a tranny cooler...... but I recently rebuilt the tranny in my '95 AWD and it was in excellent shape even after 105,000 miles and probably 15-20 open track events. Redline fluids and frequent fluid changes.

So the routing goes as followed: from trans drain>trans filter> trans oil cooler> Tiltin pump> trans temp gauge>trans fill plug. If u are using the fill and drain plugs?

I'm really not sure - probably at least another quart. I have a dry break fitting on the outlet of the pump. That way to change the fluid I simply attach a drain hose and turn the pump on to pump out all of the old fluid. I then fill the trans as you normally would - turn the pump on again to fill the cooler and lines - and then top off the trans.

Do u have the fittings to the cooler on the actual trans fill and drain plug or u have a bung welded separate from that ?is the pump routed before the oil cooler or after the oil cooler coming from the feed line . Or does it even matter

Is this your setup? I found a oil cooler setup on ecmlink forum n they have theirs routed to the feed and drain holes

The system does not use the fill and drain plugs. Fitting on bottom of tranny for send. Fluid goes into the filter first, then the pump, then the cooler before dumping back into the top of the trans.
