bottom end boost

Assuming no knock, 112octane, could a stock block engine (new rebuild with arp headstuds and aftermarket headgasket) handle 30psi of 60-1 flow?

Stock 7bolt has gone 10.7 at 135 with 35psi so I think so.

Thanks for the response. I hate to post "dumb" questions like these but i'm a bit curious. Where did you hear/read this from? I'l like to take a look at it.

If you are tuned properly then it "should" be able to handle it. I've ran 26 psi on my stock bottom end with 100 0ctane with a pte 60 trim.

i've run 26psi on my 60-1 too but im looking to see if 30psi and 112octane will be ok. If i can even spool it up that far..

It shouldn't be a problem. With stock head studs/gasket you would have to worry about the high cylinder pressures lifting the head off of the block, but you won't have that problem with arp studs and an aftermarket gasket.
