Flickering Oil Light (bottom left dash light)?

I just finished installing my front mount intercooler and when i started the car up the oil light in the dash (looks just like the oil pressure gauge symbol) would flicker. I havent taken it for a drive because I dont want to f something up if its going to happen. I searched for this and some have said this is normal. I have checked my oil level and it seems fine. Any Thoughts?!

Down by the oil sending unit, check to see if there are any wirings hanging? Chances are you bumped it or something and the wire came off. There is a sensor down there that will trigger the oil light to come on. Either the wire came off or the sensor went bad. If it's the sensor, they are cheap and easy to replace.

I actually remember having to bend a connector up a little so i could fit my licp on there, but it is plugged in, im going to go fiddle with that now.

Is there any problem with driving it as long as i know there is oil and the oil pressure gauge on the dash is at the normal levels?

The oil sending unit was grounding itself on my licp...temporary fix was to stuff cardboard between the pipe and the male clip/screw holding that in. Thanks for the help!
