So I have never oncve had problem with my car. (97 2g)
14b, boost controller, apexi exhaust, dejon pipe, 1g bov, intake. (14 PSI)
New NGK wires, and gapped plugs

All of the sudden starting after a freind drove it and put SUPER 93 Octane instead of just premium unleaded. The car drives fine until I give it WOT, when it hits 5000-6000rpm the oil light flashes quickly then the car dies for a split second then goes back to running normal when I let off the gas. and go back to normal driving.

PLease helkp me out so i can keep from hurting my engine.

Pretty sure a higher octane fuel wouldnt affect that at all.

Putting in higher octane isn't a bad thing, it's preventing knock/detonation since higher the octane is, the harder it is for it to ignite/burn.

Now is there a difference between the two fuels besides octane rating? Have you checked your oil level at all after seeing that?

Lastly try and get the voltage checked for the alternator as well. It may just be getting heated up too much and becoming unstable while you are WOT.

Make sure your plugs are at 0.028" gap and speaking of plugs, how do they look color wise?

plugs are .28 and dark not black or white.

the only thing not normal is that for about 3 weeks my serpentine belt has been sqeaking a lot. Oil pressure is great, right at the tip of spout on picture when cruising and in the middle of bottom lines at idle.

Well your oil pressure is perfect then according to your gauge. It may just be a short or something

has your clutch ever stuck to the floor while making a sharp left hand turn? j/k high octane doesn't hurt your engine it helps, Did you put your wires on in the correct order? Or maybe you have a boost leak? If all is good, run a diagonstic scan

Vac at idle holds about 19 -20 so I don't think I have a leak there is no jerking or anything in the lower rpm only when it gets to 5000 or 6000 rpm.....could just bad gas cause it? Or an unplugged sensor? The oil light is what throws me.....OH and Tue pedal only sticks when I turn to the right.....LOL j/k

No LOL.. Bad gas has nothing to do with it unless its low octane which 93 isnt. What are your plugs gapped at? The oil light is probably just a short somewhere.

.28 and I went and got a voltage tester haven't used it yet since I'm not wig my car right now. But he car only does it in gear NOT in neutral. ...????!! So could it be a boost problem or fuel and air?

I had an issue with one of my part store alternators that after driving for a while the unit over heated and lost charging capabilities and caused my dash lights to go crazy. It's a possibility but go to the sender on the OFH and clean the contact and wire. Might as well do the one for the gauge too. It's probable that there is a lot of oil and dirt build up.

If you are still cutting out and what not and you are verifying that you have spark at the 5k+ range then get the alternator tested. Might as well test your coil pack and the PTU that is next to the coil pack (black box on a gold/brass mounting plate).
