Okay i was jsut outside gettin a jump for my car.. Battery was dead. Now after it cranks up it clicks on and off electrically its like the ECU isnt gettin enuff power and if flickering on and off. and if wont stop. is this because my battery is not charged enuff or what.. Its a fairly new battery maybe 3 months..

whatcha mean by felt rings? and it could be my alternator but i dont think so the car was sitting for about a month then i drove it about 15 miles yesterday and this didnt happen and then it set for about 3 horus and i had to jump it off again? and it cranked right up but never did click like this it will run and the idle will fluctuate and then all u hear is ####ing clicking sound from the battery and you can hear it in the ecu since its like the power is getting cut off.. i was thinkin my battery is dead but i drove it like yesterday ago and it ran fine and drove it yesterday and it didnt do this. oh yeah terminals not corroded

i figured that they would be the problem is keeping it running long enuff to get it there.. pep boys is like 5 mile form my house but i cant even keep it running in the drive way
im pissed LOL

If you have a VOM you can do some simple tests on your battery and charging system. At rest the battery should read 12 volts or more. When cranking the engine the voltage should only drop 3 or 4 volts. More than that and your battery is weak. With the engine running you should read 13 volts or more on the battery. If it's less you have a problem with your charging system. Why is this question in Tuning?

Look at the end of the battery island at Wal*Mart.Odd how you didn't think we needed to hear about that part. Your battery may be dead as well.
