boost gauge\fpr problem?

ok simple question when i first start my car warm or cold my boost/vac gauge doesn't see vac pressure for like 30 seconds or more. is the boost gauge i bought messed up or is my fpr diaphragm sticking.

I just learned that the stock fpr solenoid blocks vacuum to the fpr to help with starting. If you're tapped after the solenoid, that would be the case.
