so i recently got a little bit of water in my engine but i cleared it all out. this happend maby 3 weeks ago. it smoked alot for two or three days after getting the water out (figured it was just steem). but anyway after those 2 or 3 days it stoped smoking. and the car ran great like nothing happened to it. it ran fine for a good week and a half or so. then out of the blue it started smokeing again. this time i could tell its oil burning. first i thought it was a head gasket but its perfectly fine (havnt had any type of over heating issues for the past 2 weeks. but i notice the smoke only comes when the turbo starts to spool up alittle. anything over maby 5 psi is when it will start to smoke alittle and it happends most the time after i spool and let off the gas is when it will start to smoke. im takeing a guess maby its the gasket for the return line to the turbo? does that sound right? i am a newbie so please anything would help. my guess is the gasket for the oil return line. but what do you guys think? car runs great and only smokes after 5psi or so after i let off the gas alittle.
by the way my turbo is a evo3 16g. less then two years old. so im positive its not time for a new turbo considering mine is still pritty new. and i never beat on the car considering its my DD. only at the track
