Hello folks, I have a 93 AWD that will be almost dead a day or two after I leave it sitting in the garage. I have confirmed that the battery is good and takes a charge. I'm getting around a 2amp current on the battery when the car is off.
I unhooked the alternator power and signal and the battery still reads 1.98 amps. I also connected the alternator directly and still got the same reading. Therefore, I don't think the alternator is the cause.
The draw goes away when I remove 80a alternator relay or 40a battery relay.I traced the hot to the "room" fuse in the cabin. remove i remove the room fuse the draw goes down to 1 amp. Does anyone know what would drain a battery in a day under this fuse? I know there are a lot of things but some narrowing down of most likely suspects would be nice. Thanks.
edit: my mpi relay under the stereo and my isc buy buzz when I connect the battery.
