Im trying to tune a base map on my 2g to run on SD, hx35, 1600cc injectors and e85. No matter what i do it just cranks. And cranks. Every once in a while itll fire but go back to cranking. Black box ecu

Don't make the switch to an SD map until you have a fairly good tune on stock MAF. Start by dialing in your injectors for E85, (global size then work on cruise and idle) and then work on timing and AFR maps. After that is in good shape, then start adjusting your SD map so that your SD logging parameters match up (this is how you actually build your SD map, off of the stock MAF rom). In addition, you can adjust maf Hz or wait to switch to SD to perfect more randomized RPM and load/tps points where cruising/various AFR's are off a bit (this is outside of WOT tuning).

Quoted from Knochgoon (DSM wiseman):

"You use the big maps (non-SD) one to get everything setup. You need to set up the SD settings for the map sensor. Then log MAF airflow counts and SD airflow counts. Then you adjust the VE map until they match at all points. Then you copy the VE table from your bigmaps maf Rom to a [SD rom]"
