Here's another dumb question.
Recently my water pump went out so I replaced all my timing components. I do not have the BSE, and I replaced the balance shaft belt.
Now my questions are, has anyone replaced there's now there's a whine?
I know it's coming from there 150%
I know there's a possibility the BS Tensioner is too tight or the belt is too tight.
Second part of the question if it is too tight. Will I have to retime the whole car if I loosen the pulley a bit or even have to go as far as retension. There's still not even 5k miles on the new one.
It's a 1996 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GST
This video is the first gen, but it's almost the exact sound. The only difference is mine sounds way less severe. And sometimes it doesn't do it at all
