I wish to start a thread and discuss this widely on baffled oil pans for the 7 bolt, im putting this here solely to discuss alot easier on YOUR ideas and thoughts. On prices I cannot discuss this as 1 i dont know anyway but 2 its not a freelancer post. Its purely to gather info from everyone. Only prices i will discuss are already available options available for them.
I have been asked many times on this subject and since my own personal one works very well its always been on my mind to look into this and I have been slowly but now im stuck in the end goal. Mostly due to price and welding skills. So based on the Moroso thats about 800 new but only for the 6 bolt! For an oil pan that stops failiures thats still cheap but its also almost a simple bolt on engine build dependant etc.
You also have the racefab but you have to ship your pan off and can be costly but i think from reading others that done this its about 7-800ish. I will need to find the thread to confirm it properly.
With that in mind was considering about 3 options!
1. was a full diy kit you weld on and would come in plate form ready to weld on once cut out.
2. Minimal welding required IF capacity is needed!!!
This Is a vastly upgraded pickup but in the internal size of the pan! This would include baffle plates / flaps and include a new pickup tube that mounts to the pump. It would also include an internal ledge to stop oil flowing back to the drain side but will allow it to flow into the pickup area.
This version would also have a container you can weld on the front for added capacity which would be close to +1qt! That wont be tricky to do but has to make sure you clean it all well. And if you dont want the capacity you dont use it and keep the pan size stock.
This is a very upgraded system and will do alot of good for oil control. Even without capacity adding its going to do alot better in general.
3. Would be more costly but is based upon a single or dual pan and would be a completely new pan to bolt on! Tricker to do but doable once drawn up and worked out, baffles would be bolt in and would all be made from aluminum. Baffled might be another material depending on a few factors at the time.
So what i have here below currently is version 2 as a base model. I feel as if this would be the most ideal version for 2 reasons. Cost vs a new pan and its rather simple for welding on for the extra capacity if required. We all know someone who can do some welding these days.
But im all ears and willing to discuss as much as I can.

so i hope thats shipping ontop of that 550 to bri g is closer to the 800 area
