Large capacity stock oil pan

With this and my oil cooler, I now hold 9 quarts in my motor. Definitely what I needed for Land Speed Racing. Just doing all I can to ensure the life and happiness of my motor.

Any modifications to the pick-up?

Nice work with increasing the oil capacity. I would use some glyptal around any places that could hold chunkies that could float out and ruin your day later. Of coarse after you cleaned it to the best of your ability. Its really hard to make sure and get a pan clean unless you have an ultrasonic cleaner.

I would talk to Kiggly about modifying your pickup tube. He gave me some helpful tips and pictures. Email him, maybe he will help you out.

No we didn't. I honestly don't feel the need to either. The pan is not any deeper. That and we don't drag race. And the G's we see are nothing like what a drag car sees. That and we aren't trying to spin anything more than 9000rpm. I currently only have my limiter to 8500rpm.

And this is a race car, the oil pan does not stay on there for that long.
