2G AWD d/s front axle - half shaft - intermediate shaft How far?

Hello everyone I replaced my driver side inner cv axle boot but I took it out a month ago and I can’t remember how far in it should go in, now It looks a little far away but I might be wrong and it is in place, is this right or it should go more in? if someone can show me how yours looks like will be great thanks in advance the car is a 97 gsx

You can always tell how far a CV axle was installed based on where the seal polished it.
