Awd colt, 4g15 question???

So I have a 1990 dodge colt that I'm planing to swap my 4g63 into.
The 4g15 thats in the colt now has a bad bottom end, I still wanna drive this car daily while am building my 4g63. My question is I know there is a 12v and 8v 4g15 I have an 8v but can I swap any 99-94 4g15 block To my 8v head?


Having trouble finding a 90-93 4g15 block but Ive seen several 94-99 blocks available just need to know if there compatible

I can't answer your question from personal experience, but I have an opinion: Just build the 4G63 faster!

Wow this is new to me. Espeialy since me and the car are the same age. I never even heard of this Dodge Colt you speak.

I'm not entirely sure either but check out 4G61t.org tons of info on the 4g15,and you can see what a few members have done with their awd swaps. Everything got switched to a new server and I can't log in right now but I was on an hour ago great site,lots of info and good people!
