I am putting my engine back together tomorrow and i dont have enough arp moly lube for main and head studs. So i was wondering if i could use sta-lube assembly lube with moly and graphite and still use arps torque specs for there moly lube?

Order more ARP lube for the bolts. You may be able to use oil specs for regular oil torque method. Not sure how well a mixed torque assembly would work...

Yes I mentioned that, however, the ARP bolts will be at a lower value while oil will be higher. Regardless of the lower friction moly lube provides to use a lower torque, you are still at separate values during torquing which could become an issue.

I would use 1 or the other and not mix values.

Will it hold up as good using oil instead. I have always used the arp lube. I order the bottle but they sent me the little packet and i dont have time to wait do to my work schedule.

Yes, that's why they provide the values. I would personally get more lube though.

I called every where local and no one has it. I did find moroso moly lube, would that work?

Are you just calling random speed shops or did you use the website to look up ARP dealers and call them?

I find it hard to believe that no ARP dealers within a reasonable distance of you stock the lube.

I called 4 locals from the site and a few speed shops, a few had the moroso.or they could order it, but I can't wait. I have one day to assemble the engine and put it in, If not I will have to wait 3 weeks and by then its going to be freezing out ( I'm doing it out side)
