Hi guys, I'm assembling my shortblock with new bearings/rings, and I want to make sure I don't miss anything regarding engine assembly lube and locktite and anti sieze paste. I doubt much would get anti sieze, but I'm unsure about everything that should get engine assembly lube (as shown herePermatex® Engine Assembly Lube ) or locktite or anything else.

I would think something like the main crank sprocket bolt would be something you never, ever want coming undone, and should get locktite, but which kind? Blue or red or something else? What about rod caps? Main bolts?

Is there some kind of checklist I should have?

And how exactly should I make sure to apply the engine assembly lube so that I cover all my bases?

Any help would be loved, you guys have helped me so much getting to this point and I'm grateful for every reply I get!

I am following this right now:

Project Rely-on-ability

It has been EXTREMELY helpful. With most bolts he uses thread locker red but with a little bit he uses blue. A few things I'm doing different is leaving off an oil pan gasket since there is no gasket stock, just RTV. Also, I am not using any copper spray like he is.

Currently I am trying to figure out if I need a new seal inside my CAS since I removed the plate over it when removing the cams and I can't remember if I took a seal out. It seems really loose otherwise. Mine is a 2G though so it is a bit different.
