We got sidelined quick..1g bottom back seat doesn't weigh shit..But the back has mounting brakets, leave those seats at home.With the mounting brackets to chassis.

Mine has probably 5 dollars worth of change in it.. And you guys arent kidding, you can barely fit one pop can in there!! I just kinda shove it in there so it dents the side of the can.. haha!! It stays so I dont care.

It he cool to have a metal plate in there with a switch for fans. Or maybe wired to your lights.

As far as the mbc, it's preferred to have one that is made for the cabin. Maybe a greddy, aem, or hallman in cabin. Shorter the hose the safer your are.

Anyways, I have an alpine stereo and I ran the wire under the center counsel and drilled a hole so when its plugged in you don't see how its plugged in. I'll try to get some pictures if anyone is interested.

Maybe read about the guy that blew his engine because his throttle? got stuck and he couln't shut it off because when he pulled the key it just started the timer first...

My throttle just got stuck the other day starting mine up and I'm glad I could just pull the key instantly right when I saw the revs go up.

I just get so worried about those timers with our throttles built the way they are with the cruise control and all, just too many things to go wrong I wouldn't trust the thing.

Or if I had an oil pressure drop during a drive and had to INSTANTLY shut the key off. I wouldn't even have time to try and get to the timer and try to bypass it...

Sorry, those things just seem like more trouble making devices than something that is helpful. I've been in a few situations where I have had to shut the car off ASAP and I would have been screwed if I had a timer...

I'd have to agree. I always just wait the few minutes it's not a big deal to me.


In the ash I used to run an AUX cable until I got a new head unit with a port on the face. I can't store change in it anymore due to the hole in the bottom, so I usually just throw my phone in there if anything.

I no longer have a turbo timer. I personally don't buy into them anymore.

Use the damn turbo timer hand brake wire. Without the hand brake pull, car shut off when turning the key off ... Don't see how more idiot proof it could be ...

Now the throttle cable, cruise or not, how come you need to give gaz to start your engine ?

You could gut the underside and stuff a Profec EBC in there. I did something similar with my 1g parcel box, which is about the same size as the 2g ash tray.

Whats the point of the turbo timer, really? I usually have to get shit together once I get somewhere, its not that hard to let the car idle for a minute before you flip it off. I mean, I could be a lot cooler and buy an awesome JDM greddy tuner turbo timer, but then again, im not nearly that cool, I guess

I was waiting for someone to realize the Eco/Pwr switch in a 5-speed. Previous owner swapped in an Auto console for whatever reason. I unfortunately didn't own the car long enough to switch it out.

Everyone has pretty good ideas, I guess its just a matter of finding something I am going to have/use long enough to make a custom spot for.

I know that we have two cup holders, but losing my arm rest so the person next to me can drink really isn't my cup of tea ( pun intended)

I don't smoke and my iphone fits but very awkwardly, plus its hard to pull out sometimes...Not going to have the iphone forever tho so may not want to fiberglass the ashtray for it.

I wont ever have a turbo timer so I dont want to put it there, an aux cable for me would be better in the middle console, and I dont have a need for any switches at the moment ( until my uber F&F neon install)

Ill get in trouble with the MBC in there, I am a ricer at heart and me controlling boost on the fly will equal a expensive tow bill and alot of oil clean up.

I was thinking that if I do the dual cup holders, that I may depending on space underneath rig some sort of heating and cooling machine to each one so that my drink stays cold, I am sure I can use the Cig lighter power supply...( P.S. I ate our cig lighter locations)
