Anyway to check for crankwalk without driving?

I just bought a 2g gst that has had the timing belt snap, the head wasn't included with the car. So before i go and spend the money on a new head i would like to check for signs of crankwalk. I know when you drive the car the clutch will stick on sweeping left turns but is there any other way to look for it?
