AN fittings and teflon tape

Ok so do I need to use teflon tape on these or do they seal fine without it?

Do not use teflon tape for them. They work best without teflon and are not recommended to be used with teflon at all.

19TSI95AWD is correct. they are really considered a flare fitting and they seal on the flare. if you've ever seen flaring tools for 37 degrees, these are for making metal tubing mate to AN fittings.

Use teflon tape on NPT threads, but not flared AN threads.

nah no teflon or anything. Don't go crazy when you tighten them either, especially on the alumn ones.

You should however, use a drop or two of oil to lubricate the aluminum threads.
