i had a slight leak at my biss screw so i took it out and used teflon tape to fix it. is that ok? i also have a small one coming from the top of my BOV, can i just teflon tape the screw on that as well?

The biss screw is cheap from the stealership. just get a new one. For the BOV, maybe its time you got an upgrade.

I'd suggest staying away from teflon tape and if you must, use Loctite. Loctite doesn't run the chance of fraying and being sucked up, and while a bit of teflon tape probably wouldn't hurt anything, it certainly wouldn't help.

Im assuming its an adjustable BOV. So it would be really stupid to locktite it. For your BISS screw you can go to a hardware store and find and o-ring that fits nicely on it and is a bit thicker than stock. Also put some vaseline around the oring to help.
